Your frame ships ready to hang. Everything you need to display it, on a wall or a table, is below.
Mount your photo
- Remove all four standoff screws. Each screw has two clear washers, one against the acrylic and one against the wood back. Keep them together.
- Lift off the acrylic sheet.
- Peel the backing off the removable tape squares.
- Center your photo over the engraved guide box so it covers the lines, then press it down.
- Set the acrylic back on top. Then follow the tabletop or wall steps below.

Stand it on a table
- On the bottom edge of the frame, unscrew the backs of the two standoffs. Keep track of the clear washers.
- Separate the front and back of the two long standoffs from the included bag.
- Place a clear washer against the wood, then screw the long standoff back on. Repeat on the other side.
The top two standoffs stay short.
Hang it on the wall
You’ll need: a level, a pencil, painter’s tape, a Phillips screwdriver, and the included wall anchors. No drill is required.
- Poke a hole through the center of each crosshair circle on the template with a nail or sharp pencil.
- Tape the top edge of the template to the wall. Level it, then mark the wall through each hole.
- Center the tip of a wall anchor over each mark and screw it in until it sits flush. If a mark lands on a stud, skip the anchor and drive the screw straight into the wood.
- Insert the anchor screw through a standoff back, with the non-threaded side against the wall, and screw it into the anchor. Repeat for all four.
- Top edge: insert a standoff screw through the front of the frame with a clear washer between the screw and the acrylic. Add a clear washer on the back against the wood. Loosely tighten both top screws into the standoffs. A second person / set of hands helps with these steps.
- Bottom edge: hold a washer against the back of each hole, insert the screw and front washer, and lightly tighten.
- Tighten all four screws. Snug is enough, since overtightening can stress the acrylic.

Lost your template, or hanging a second frame? Download the one that matches your frame’s size and orientation. Print at 100% / Actual size, with no scaling or “fit to page,” then measure the 4-inch check line before you mark the wall. The 8×10 template prints on 11×17 paper. Most home printers can’t print this size, but any print shop can print it in black and white.

Caring for your frame
- Dust with a soft microfiber cloth. For smudges, use a cloth lightly dampened with water.
- Do not use glass cleaners, ammonia, or alcohol. They will cloud the acrylic.
- Keep out of direct sunlight to protect your photo and the wood.
- Acrylic edges can be sharp. Handle the frame by its sides with care.
